This is a sonic introduction to the forthcoming 'i Light Marina Bay 2012' festival in Singapore. The soundscape designed by Treborikki is an extended play of excerpts from the full body of work for the light and sound art installation called 'G A P the MIND' by the BKK-based artist Be Takerng Pattanopas.

Treborikki had in prior commissions designed therapeutic soundscapes that were musically based, however in this piece, cinemascope sound and abstract play come into light. The soundscape immerses you into the realms of serenity and tranquility and is designed with brass alms bowl from various locales and sizes. These bowls themselves though small in size (8cm - 2cm) create an engulfing resonance of harmony and rhythm heard through the techniques in sound extraction.

This montage attempts to contain the essence of the total art work, to give the audience a sense of what it would be like if one was standing amidst the art installation (over 40 meters across).

This sonic experience will also give way to other harmonic resonances that perhaps listeners have not yet noticed before. Hint: G A P your MIND! Using stereo headphones will deliver quite a bi-auditory impact.
